Abstract

Changes in microtopography were examined between steel-ferrodo sliding pair in dry sliding. Effects of load and original texture were studied.
3D topographic parameters were used to characterise and qualify the changes in microtopography.
It was proved that the forming surface in wear greatly depend on the operating state, but the orientation of original surface also have effect.
