| Abstract | The facts have been known for years: the spread of digital technology is unstoppa-ble. Nowadays, however where the most sophisticated technology is required, besides the dig-ital video recorders, full digital video surveillance systems have appeared. Development of technology has given a chance to high-resolution IP video cameras to be implemented into the most finest technical applications. Meeting requirements of casinos and poker rooms present a challenge for video technology. Meeting requirement is not easy: individual needs, special lighting, archiving regulations, and etc. …all for fair play game. Complying standards of casinos and card rooms is no longer a technical problem solely, but it also prompts for thoughtful system design. |
