Abstract | The development of requirements of fire doors is a consequence of lifestyle under the circumstances. Fire of wooden multi-storey slab-systems in the city centers and experiences in the field of fire-fighting to avoid total devastation of buildings required engagement of fire section systems including fire doors. Basic structure of doors was made of wood overlaid by iron and the experts had to pay attention to deformation issued from heat. Other examples showed to necessity of regulation by law and standards of special higher-risk-premises (to collect and/or deposit trash and flammable liquids, vault) to be protected them by fire doors. Saved souls and properties justify the necessity of fire door. Development of fire doors by manufacturers is continuous to satisfy fire protection and inner architecture requirements of buildings in the future. |
