Abstract

there are several industrial processes where fast decision is required. In these cases fuzzy control methods are available. If these processes are more complicated and controller should have more input values normal computers will be unable to fulfill speed demands or they should be very complicated. If we use FPGAs as decision machines it is easy to construct very fast devices which are able to work in parallel way. An FPGA is fast enough, but emerges another problem in case we want to make adaptive control. This paper deals with a possibility to establish an adaptive fuzzy controller with FPGAs.
