Abstract | Nowadays Lyapunov’s second method is the most prevailing solution in adaptive control problems. Despite of the idea being splendid, recently other solutions have come up which seem to be more beneficial in some cases. One of these methods is the family of Robust Fixed Point Transformations (RFPT) which proved to be effective in several areas, for example in Classical Mechanical Systems, Electromechanical Systems and in the frames of Model Reference Adaptive Controllers (MRAC). In this paper a novel application of RFTP, the synchronization of two chaotic Duffing systems is shown. Numerical simulations illustrate and confirm the usefulness of the procedure. |
