Összefoglalás | The transmission network represents undoubtedly the infrastructure that enables the power market operation. The Transmission System Operator (TSO) has to offer it to all market participants. The paper presents an original mathematical model for congestion management. It corresponds to the case of large power systems, considering the power market liberalization. The transition to the competitive (deregulated) environment, the achievement of transactions within the same power system or cross-border transactions, the use of renewable energy sources, all these facts are representing new challenges (considering the associated risk and uncertainties) for the power systems. Following this line, the necessity of developing new tools for analysis and management of these special situations is obvious. Considering the arguments aforementioned, the authors discuss the methodology for a probabilistic power flow approach. A mathematical model designed for Available Transfer Capacity (ATC) is also discussed. A software application based on the mathematical models and methodologies is developed in Matlab environment. The case study refers to the Western and South-Western side of the Romanian Power System (DET Vest). |
