The objective of present scientific research has been to analyze the environmental education aspects of field exercises, to establish and improve environmental awareness, defined as the condition of sustainable development, for environmental engineer and engineer instructor students in an environmentally adequate educational environment. To establish and develop skills and knowledge of environmental awareness, the environment must be interpreted as a system, it must be presented as the sum of the mutual influences and effects of the living and inanimate components. The presentation presents a complex set of tests, also designating the location of the tests, to observe and determine conditions focused on living organisms, since the indicators of living systems also indicate the conditions of the inanimate components.
