From the IT Authorisation to the Role- and Identity Management

Employees' tasks always change according to the reengineering of the business processes. IT solutions applied by enterprises develop continuously. These changes and developments may influence users' access to the more and more complex IT systems. The management of changes, access requests, departing employees and other problems are usually not included in the strengths of today's companies. This paper gives an overview of the requirements of modern user identity and access management from the point of view of IT security and organization.
