Abstract

The topic of this paper is the design and the implementation of a robot, which is capable of autonomous navigation within a homogeneous, weakly-textured environment. The architectural components of the robot are an RC model car, a remote controller extended with some custom electronics, a wireless camera with panoramic annular lens, and a standard PC for controlling the robot.
